While I was finishing my MFA, The Barbarian Group kindly filled in the gaps by throwing me tons of freelance work. By far my biggest project to date, SearsStyle was a massive endeavor to create a new content & e-commerce platform for Sears’ fashion division. Working with a team of three other developers, I worked for nearly a full year on the project, developing large-scale Ruby on Rails & Javascript solutions for the project. I worked side by side with the designers & the UX team to deliver new and interesting features such as infinite scrolling, carousel modules, modal windows, and more.
